This is my first year of being a trainer and I already love it! I’ve been around football all my life due to my brother playing. He just graduated, and I knew I couldn’t stay away from Milton Football too long so I decided to become a trainer! Along with training, I am a cheerleader for Milton Basketball which I’ve been doing quite a while. Being a trainer for football is a big commitment, but I really enjoy it and I’m very eager for the season to start!

My name is Katie Grupp. I am a sophomore at Milton and am returning for my second year of football training. I am interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare profession and thought that training would be the perfect opportunity to gain some experience. My brother was on the offensive line for his four years at Milton and introduced me to the program. I enjoy working the sidelines on Friday nights and experiencing the thrill of the game.

My name is Karley Speer, a senior at Milton High School.
This is my second year being a Student trainer for Milton’s football program and I am looking forward to an incredible season. My freshman year I played on our high school’s freshman volleyball team and started lacrosse being on jv and got pulled up to varsity and was chosen MVP for the JV team. I also played lax and wrestled my sophomore year and was a trainager for boy’s lax team. I was the secretary of my class sophomore year. As a junior I participated as a wrestler on our boy’s high school team with a record of 16-6 and a pole vaulter on track. I placed runner-up in Girls State Wrestling Championship and sixth in the FILA Women’s Wrestling Nationals. Also I took the titles for Georgia, Southeast Region, and Nationals in NAGA Fighting. I also went to state for HOSA in sports medicine and was a member of student council. I plan on going pre-med in college. I’m looking forward to a terrific season with lots of memories with ya’ll.
